I had mixed feelings about my stay at The Glenerin Inn. The location was lovely, nestled in a nice neighborhood and not far from downtown. However, I encountered some disappointing service that left a sour taste in my mouth. While my room was well-appointed, the housekeeping left much to be desired. Overall, the experience was underwhelming.

My room was charming and comfortable, but there were cleanliness issues that were hard to ignore. It was dusty and showed signs of neglect.

I had issues accessing the dining facilities. Unfriendly service led me to seek dinner elsewhere, which was a letdown.
Facilities

The Inn offers nice amenities, but the issues with maintenance significantly overshadowed them during my stay.

I had high hopes for my stay at the Glenerin Inn, given its reputation, but it fell short in several areas. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the room had nice touches, but the service was lackluster and unwelcoming. While the dining facilities and location were promising, my experience was marred by communication issues and staff indifference.

Rooms
7.0
The room was spacious and overlooked a pretty garden, but there were cleanliness issues that needed addressing. The bed was comfy, and the addition of Chromecast was great, but some details were off.
Service
5.0
The staff at the front desk seemed overwhelmed and unhelpful, making my check-in and dining experience quite frustrating. It felt like they lacked proper communication and a sense of hospitality.
Location
8.0
The inn is set in a lovely urban area by a river, perfect for walking trails through ravines, which is a definite plus for outdoorsy folks.
Dining
5.0
Dining options looked appealing, but my experience was disappointing due to the need for reservations that I wasn’t informed about. This definitely led me to seek dining elsewhere.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were decent with room service and housekeeping, but they need to pay more attention to details. A welcome drink was a nice touch, though.

I had a mixed experience at The Glenerin Inn. On one hand, the hotel is beautiful and well-located. On the other hand, I encountered several issues with service and the quality of my room that left a lot to be desired. Overall, I don't think I'll be coming back anytime soon.

Rooms
5.0
The Junior Queen Room I stayed in was quite small and felt cramped. While it was newly renovated, the cozy size made it a bit uncomfortable, especially for two people. It could use better arrangements regarding space.
Service
5.0
The customer service was lacking. I had a few negative interactions with staff who seemed indifferent, which detracted from the overall experience. Checking in and dining felt more stressful than it should have been.
Location
8.0
The inn is in a lovely location on the river, surrounded by beautiful walking trails through ravines. It truly is a gem in the heart of the city which I appreciated during my stay.
Dining
5.0
I didn't get the chance to enjoy the dining experience as I had hoped. While the menu features seasonal local products, my initial attempt to dine at the restaurant was frustrating due to reservation confusion.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities were decent, but I was disappointed by the lack of a bar area for drinks, and my room lacked a coffee maker and sufficient charging plugs, which made my stay less comfortable.

I recently spent two nights at The Glenerin Inn with my family during Christmas and Boxing Day, and overall, it was a lovely stay! The hotel is charming and beautifully decorated for the holidays, creating a festive atmosphere. Our room was spacious and comfortable, complete with a cozy seating area and a gas fireplace. However, there were some areas for improvement, particularly regarding service quality and dining options that could have been better overall.

Rooms
9.0

The service was generally excellent, with staff members being very pleasant, especially the guest services manager, Norman.
Location
10.0
The location is fantastic, nestled in a neighborhood with lovely walking trails through ravines, making it feel like a rustic getaway amidst an urban setting.
Dining
8.0
I truly enjoyed the Christmas dinner buffet and the a la carte menu on Boxing Day; however, some of my dining experiences here in the past weren't as really good, so there's room for improvement.
Facilities
8.0
The facilities, including room service and a welcoming atmosphere, added to our enjoyable experience, but there could be more options available for dining.

I had a mixed experience at The Glenerin Inn. The hotel itself is beautiful with a charming atmosphere, but I faced some issues with my room cleanliness and staff response. While the staff was initially friendly, the service could use some improvement in handling problems more efficiently.

Rooms
6.0
I found my room to be a bit small and challenging to navigate, especially with the low ceiling on one side. It wasn't as clean as I'd hoped, with dust present on the floors. I enjoyed the comfortable bed, but the overall cleanliness was an issue.
Service
5.0
I experienced a lack of support from the staff when I raised my concerns about the room. After reporting a cleanliness issue, the response I received felt dismissive, which added to the disappointment during my stay.
Location
8.0
The location is great, situated in an urban neighborhood not far from downtown. It makes exploring the area easy, although I would recommend having a car to navigate comfortably.
Dining
8.0
The dining experience was pleasant, particularly enjoying lunch in the sunroom with great wait staff. The atmosphere greatly enhanced my meal.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel offers a variety of useful facilities like room service and housekeeping, yet I feel like the maintenance of cleanliness needs more attention. The welcome drink was a nice touch.
